Accepting no government funding, we are entirely dependent upon fundraising events, donors, and community support.
GIVE TIME |
GIVE ITEMS |
Imagine a child smiling from ear to ear and hugging you just because you showed up. That is what our volunteers experience each day at the Little Light House.
Our volunteers are trained and plugged into the area that they can serve best. Whether in the classroom, helping at an event, or using a particular skill or talent, there is something for everyone. If you can give your time, we would love to sign you up for our next volunteer training. |
We have created a blessing basket as a way to collect items that we need at Little Light House. From cleaning supplies to classroom supplies, there are always items that are needed!
If you would like to donate an item, check out our list of needs. Every item truly is a blessing, and each donation continues to help our staff provide the best care to our children and families! |
DONATE MONEY
Your monthly donation won’t go to some streaming subscription, it will go to children who NEED it. It gives them the tools they need for everyday tasks. It will also help us get even closer to finally reaching our goal to find a forever home so we can serve more children. We currently have 60 children on our waiting list, and with your help, we can decrease that number. You can support us by giving a one-time donation as well!
SUPPORT AN EVENT
We host several major annual events that are each a fun way to get involved and give back. From a fancy Garden Party brunch to Golf Tournaments and Fun Runs, we have something for everyone!
Whether you choose to be a participant and purchase a raffle ticket to an event, or you choose to become a sponsor of an event, any support we receive makes a huge impact on the present and future of Little Light House. All money we receive goes directly back into continuing to care for our current students and helps us get closer to finding our forever home, where we will eventually be able to serve more students! |
Host a 3rd Party Fundraiser
Hosting your own fundraiser for Little Light House could make a huge difference for us. This could be anything from a raffle, a gift card or supply drive from our blessing basket list, an event, or even collecting money for your birthday.
If you or your organization/group has an idea for a 3rd party fundraiser we would love to hear about it! Contact Crystal McCann at 601-956-6131 or [email protected]. We would greatly appreciate your support and would love to be a part of your fundraiser!
TWO EASY WAYS TO GIVE!
There are two easy ways to donate to the Little Light House that won’t cost you anything extra. In fact, it takes a portion of the money that you’re already spending on other things. And they’re really easy to set up!
Amazon SmileGo to smile.amazon.com the next time you shop at amazon.com and designate The Little Light House, Central Mississippi as your charitable organization. Then a portion of whatever you buy, books, clothes, cosmetics, etc. anything at all will go straight to the LLH! The best part is it won’t cost you anything extra! |
KrogerYour friendly neighborhood grocery store offers the same thing. When you buy groceries at Kroger and swipe your Kroger Plus Card, Kroger will donate a portion of the profits to the Little Light House! It’s an easy way to get $$ for the LLH on stuff that you’re going to buy anyway! Just go to the Kroger Community Rewards section on Kroger’s website to get started! Make sure to search "Little Light House" as three separate words!
