If caring is your passion, welcome home.
At the Little Light House, we’re committed to helping children with special needs live life to the fullest. The truth is, we can’t do it alone.
Your time can make a difference in the lives of our children. Our volunteers are a committed group of people who want to help our kids succeed. Our volunteers are trained and plugged into the area that they can serve best. Whether in the classroom, helping at an event, or using a particular skill or talent, there is something for everyone No previous experience is required. All volunteers receive free training and work with the children under the supervision of qualified staff members. |

A Day In the Life Of a Little Light House Volunteer
Ways to Volunteer
Classroom Volunteers The Little Light House is blessed to have volunteers who are willing to give one day a week or more to work with our children. Help our students develop motor skills, reading, writing, self-help skills and achieve other goals. |
Administrative Volunteers The Little Light House is a very busy place! We also need help in our administrative department. This is a great way to gain administrative experience in a friendly office atmosphere. |
Special Events Volunteers We have 3 major fundraising events throughout the year as well as Community Luncheons, holiday parties, and other functions. Volunteers play a vital part by assisting our staff in planning and executing these events! |
College Internships & Observations If you are a professor looking for an opportunity for your students, or a student looking for an internship or observation hours, we have a spot for you! |
