This year, we invite you to give in memory of Mackenzie and Susan Wilbanks. |
Mackenzie began at Little Light House in 2012. During her four years here, she learned to look when her name was called, turn her head to sound, track objects with her eyes and taste a variety of foods. Mack loved socializing with her classmates, participating in circle time, music and water play. She enjoyed working with the iPad, gazing at the light box and going outside. She especially enjoyed going down the large water slide at the end of school’s Splash and Dash Party. Her bravery encouraged her friend Kaiden to follow right behind her.
Teaching children about JESUS and about GOD’s love through music was her passion. Susan taught children’s choirs for 25 years at Broadmoor Baptist Church, “retiring” in 2010 to care for granddaughter, Mackenzie. She passionately embraced the mission of Little Light House, where she volunteered while Mackenzie attended class. Susan purposed to reflect JESUS in both word and deed.
